Fly Fishing Class Offered

Columbia College Community Education is offering a class on the Art of Fly Fishing from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, June 5 and 6.

Local fly-fishing expert Michael Cowley will instruct students on equipment and techniques and provide hands-on training with casting. Students are required to provide their own equipment, and a sack lunch is recommended. Class will be held on campus in Toyon 2 on Saturday beginning at 9:00 and will move outdoors for practice in the afternoon. The Sunday class will consist of a hands-on fishing outing.

Cost is $40 per person and the registration deadline is May 28. For registration or more information, call 588-5144.
