Flowing Rivers Pose Risk

Yosemite National Park and Stanislaus National Forest officials are issuing a warning to visitors this weekend.

The region´s rivers are flowing full from melting snow pack and recent rain. Though inviting and beautiful, rivers and creeks are dangerous. Officials are asking visitors to avoid the cold, swift water and never wade above waterfalls. They say enjoy these treasures from a safe distance.
