Apartment Project Given More Time

San Andreas, CA — Gold Country Apartments in San Andreas may take a little longer than expected to build.

The 90-unit complex at Highway 49 near Old Airport Road was approved last year and its development permit was set to expire this December.

Mokelumne Hill developer David Sidle said the plan process is taking much longer than anticipated. He requested an extra two years to get grading and other permits in order.

That request was granted by the Calaveras County Planning Commission Thursday.
