Cabezut Subdivision Approved By Board

Sonora, CA — A 61 home subdivision is one step closer to construction after an approval by the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors.

California Gold along with Cabezut Partners, LLC says the Twin Creeks subdivision is expected to be 61 homes on 30 undeveloped acres east of Covey Circle on Cabezut Road.

Scott Patterson with Cabezut Partners presented the project to the board and highlighted several aspects of the subdivision, stating the project provides affordable housing, and exemplifies smart growth.

County staff put several conditions on the project and one that drew a lot of attention was the Oak Woodland mitigation, forcing the developer to plant 15 trees for every 1 that is cut down. The Board approved the project with the conditions 3 to 2.
