Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Residents are being encouraged to get rid of their spare tires this month. The rubber kind.
Tuolumne County Solid Waste Manager Mark Rappaport says it is free for residents to dispose of tires at all three of the county´s refuse disposal transfer stations.
Rappaport says reservations are mandatory. The transfer stations will only accept up to 9 passenger truck or car tires per person. For reservations call 1-800-517-7126.
