Angels Camp, CA — Calaveras County Sheriff Dennis Downum is planning on running for Sheriff again in the next term.
Downum announced he was running for another four-year term over the weekend at the senior center in San Andreas.
Downum is running unopposed and has been Sheriff since 1995.
A few projects Downum plans to work on if he is elected again next June include, a new communication project and a new jail.
