A Stockton prosecutor vacationing in Phuket, in Thailand, says his girlfriend´s dilly-dallying in the morning probably saved their lives.
Thomas Testa left his hotel room for the beach 45 minutes later than he had planned — and says that probably kept him from being swept away from the tsunami. Testa flew back early, arriving in California on New Year´s Eve.
