A pair of unrelated accidents kept CHP officers busy in Calaveras County on Monday.
A hit and run driver crashed into the front of a car parked in a driveway on Main Street in West Point just after 5 p.m. No description of the driver or car is yet available. A Valley Springs woman was lucky to escape injury after she fell asleep behind the wheel on Burson Road.
Israel Glotfelty dozed off and awoke to find her car leaving the roadway and sideswiping a fence. There were no injuries.
