San Francisco, CA — The faithless are flocking to San Francisco this weekend for a gathering of atheists.
It´s the first “All Atheist Weekend,” a gathering of five San Francisco Bay area chapters of nonbelievers.
The atheists will be discussing ways to organize and make godlessness more palatable to others.
Several studies have shown that a growing number of people don´t consider themselves affiliated with any religion, including 19 percent of Californians in a 2001 survey.
