Wet Storm Expected To Trickle Into Mother Lode Sunday

Sonora, CA– Those hoping for winter wonderland in the Mother Lode this holiday weekend may have some luck in the higher elevations.

The National Weather Service reports a wet storm is expected throughout the Mother Lode on Sunday and Monday.

Officials say it should be a mild storm with precipitation falling as rain except for snow above 6,000 feet over the Sierra. Ski areas are expected to receive plenty of snow at the higher elevations.
