Pair Arrested On Multiple Charges

Sonora, CA — A late Wednesday evening vehicle stop led to two arrests for possession of heroin, assorted drug paraphenalia and other charges.

Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Deputy Frank Derocher made a vehicle stop close to midnight on a vehicle that did not have operating taillights. 37 year old Jeffery John Tolentino of Groveland was taken into custody on several drug related misdemeanor warrants, failures to appear and violations of probation.

Also taken into custody was 52 year old Ramona Margaret Bibens of Newman, CA. She was booked on possession of heroin and hypodermic needles and transporting drugs into the County Jail.

Tolentino was released after booking and given another court date to appear. Bibens posted a $20,000 bail bond and was also released.
