Moorpark, CA — With once-ferocious Santa Winds tapering off, fire crews are close to surrounding a 13,600-acre blaze that has destroyed five homes near Moorpark in Ventura County.
The twenty one square mile wildfire is now eighty percent contained. Firefighters expect to corral the blaze by nightfall this evening. The blaze has been reduced to scattered spot fires.
