Sonora, Ca — It appears Jim Mele will be the next Tuolumne County Sheriff-Coroner.
The final provisional ballots have been counted, and Mele finished with 9,938 votes. Tom Memmer finished second with 9,832.
County Clerk and Auditor Debbie Russell made the announcement just before 5pm.
The results are unofficial until they are canvassed by the County.
