Sonora, CA — After serving 10 years as director, Charlie Bashaw said goodby to the Farmers Market Monday evening at the Sonora City Council meeting.
City Administrator Greg Applegate summed it up this way, “Charlie Bashaw IS the Farmers Market and he will be sorely missed.”
During the ceremony before the packed city council chamber audience, Bashaw received an engraved plaque, a shirt and plenty of hugs and well wishes from those who have worked with him during his tenure.
