Unidentified Male Near Death Following Jamestown Incident

Jamestown, CA — According to Lt. Dan Bressler of the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department an unidentified male is listed in critical condition at a valley hospital following an early morning incident at Railbed Rd. and Pulpit Rock in Jamestown.

The Sheriff´s Department was contacted by 40 year old Lisa Jane Ramey at approximately 2am. Ramey reportedly told deputies that she and her friend had had an argument. He was sitting on the rear of her powder blue Toyota hybrid when she accelerated and swerved and he subsequently fell off the car. Deputies determined that Ramey was intoxicated at the time of the incident.

The victim was flown to Doctor´s Hospital in Modesto where he is not expected to survive. His identification is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Ramey was arrested and transported to the Tuolumne County Jail. She has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon and is being held on $30,000 bail.
