House Fire Injures Two In Arnold

Arnold, CA — 2 people are injured after a house fire in Arnold Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out at 5 a.m. Tuesday at a home on Lightning Lane.

Two residents of the home were transported to Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital in San Andreas where they were treated for burns to the bottoms of their feet.

Crews from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the Ebbetts Pass Fire District responded and contained the fire by 7 a.m.

Preliminary reports say the home was completely destroyed.

Ebbetts Pass Acting Chief Mark Ferreira says a family lived in the home.

The cause of the fire still under investigation by CDF.
