City Council Will Look At 55 Home Project In Greenhorn

Angels Camp, CA — With a few minor changes, The Classics on the Ridge, a 55-home subdivision, was OK´d by the Angels Camp Planning Commission Thursday.
Planning Director Kaye Simonson says those changes have to do with conditions on the project regarding parking and pedestrian access.
The vote was 4-1 with Commissioner Steve Difu voting no. Difu felt the project was too dense for the area.
But Simonson says the area had been planned for a hotel and conference center, which would have been much more dense.
The project will tentatively go to the Angels Camp City Council July 18.
