Sonora Albertson’s Not One Of 37 To Close

Sonora, CA — Although 37 northern California Albertson´s stores will be closing shortly, the Sonora store is not one of them.
Albertson´s spokesperson Quyen Ha says earlier this week Albertson´s announced a new business strategy that focuses on the base of 131 solidly performing stores.
Ha says the 37 stores scheduled to close are not profitable enough to continue to invest in.
Moving forward, Ha believes that eliminating the under performing stores will make the stores like the one in Sonora more successful when it comes to products and overall service.
