Long Barn Flue Fire

Sonora, CA — A flue fire caused minor damage to a private residence early Tuesday morning.
The residence is located on Long Barn Rd. across from Merrill Springs Rd. Craig Hart of the C.D.F.-Tuolumne County Fire District reports that several engine companies from the central county area responded to the fire. Hart adds there was no extension of the fire from the flue.
Information regarding the cause of the fire and a damage estimate are forthcoming from fire officials.
