Sierra Railroad To Restore 92 Year Old Train

Oakdale, CA — The Sierra Railroad in Oakdale says it plans to restore a 92-year-old steam engine and put it to work on the railroad´s tourist trains.
The railroad company bought the engine from the Golden Gate Railroad Museum in San Francisco in November and will begin work on it at the end of this month. Restoration won´t be done until next year.
