County Officials Mourn Sudden Passing Of Facilities Manager

Sonora, CA — County officials and staff are mourning the loss of a man who was beloved by many around the halls of government.
County Facilities Manager Jerry Tucker passed away suddenly at his Phoenix Lake area home last night.
Tucker was employed by the County for 22 years. Assistant County Administrator Craig Pedro says Tucker will be sorely missed.
Pedro calls Tucker an unsung hero within the organization that helped “keep the wheels running” He says Tucker was the epitome of servant leadership. Pedro says Tucker was a gentleman and a personal friend.
Memorial arrangements are in the planning stages. Tucker leaves behind his wife Sherry, a daughter, two step sons and four grandchildren.
