Sponsored by:

Sacramento, CA — Forecasters are warning that another Pacific storm is headed for Northern California bringing with it rain to the valleys and snow to the higher elevations.

The National Weather Service says the system will be moving into the area as soon as tomorrow afternoon.

As much as two inches of rain could fall in the foothills and mountains. Snow levels should remain above 6000 feet tomorrow night, then falling to as low as 3500 feet by Saturday morning.

Forecasters say the mountain passes could see at least a foot of new snow by Saturday night. Gusty winds of up to 40 miles-per-hour are also likely in the higher elevations.

The weather service says the storm should be past by Sunday morning.
