Redding Man Suffers Minor Injuries In Collision Near Copperopolis

Copperopolis, Ca — A 48-year-old Redding man suffered minor injuries after colliding with a truck near Copperopolis Thursday evening.
Joseph Roberson was heading east on Hwy 4, when a westbound truck driven by 47-year-old Jerry Carlson of Stockton spun-out in front of him.
According to the CHP, Carlson´s truck traveled off the paved portion of the roadway. At that point, he was unable to control the truck, and it traveled back into the westbound lane, before doing a 90 degree turn into the eastbound lane.
Roberson then broadsided Carlson´s truck. The extent of Roberson´s injuries is not known by the CHP. Carlson did not report injuries.
