Sex Offender Arrested Again; This Time At Mi Wuk Post Office

Sponsored by:

Mi Wuk Village, Ca — On March 9th, 44-year-old Clayton Dean Hill was arrested in Tuolumne County for failure to register as a sex offender.

Hill, a transient, was driving suspiciously in front of the Jamestown School, and at the time of his arrest was wearing a red and black marching band uniform.

Early this morning, Hill was in trouble with the law again. At 8:48am, Hill was at the Mi Wuk Post Office, and was reportedly yelling, screaming and refusing to leave.

“The employees at the Post Office were very concerned because of his aggressive behavior toward them,” says Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Lt. Dan Bressler.Once we got there, we learned that he had also been bothering customers as they arrived.”

When Deputy Brandon Lowry tried to arrest Hill, the suspect reportedly became evasive and tried to pull away. Lowry was eventually able to handcuff Hill and get him into the patrol car.

En-route to the jail, Hill continued to act in a bizarre manner. Lowry had to discontinue his transport at one point to check on Hill´s condition. Hill acted as though he was unconscious.

Hill was eventually booked in county jail on charges of resisting arrest, trespassing and disturbing the peace. His bail is set at $3,000.
