Irish Days Parade Deadline Approaches

Murphys, CA — The deadline to enter the 2007 Murphys Irish Days Parade is fast approaching.
This year´s event takes place on St. Patrick´s Day, Saturday, March 17.
Organizers say participants from last year´s parade have until Monday, February 5 to express interest in returning. The final deadline is February 15.
So far this year, new groups set to participate are the Calaveras Community Band, Bernese Mountain dogs and 4H Pigmy goats. Last year´s popular McCloud, the 10-foot-tall Scotsman, will also make a return.
Last year´s parade had more than 40 entries and that should be par for this year too.
