Flying Doctors Organization Seeks Volunteers

Mother Lode residents are invited to attend an informational meeting about the Flying Doctors Organization at 11am in the Delta Blood Bank in Sonora today.
The organization is looking for medical professionals and volunteers from the community to travel to Central America in August to help with medical care there.
Milt Camp, the Founder of the program says people as young as in their teens can attend so long as they have parent permission.
Volunteers aid in gathering supplies, helping professionals cure patients, and much more. No prior medical training is needed to become a volunteer.
