Numerous Traffic Accidents As A Result Of Winter Weather

Sonora, Ca — Rain and snow are causing some problems for travelers across the Mother Lode this evening.
The CHP has been working an accident on Crystal Falls Drive at American River Drive. Crystal Falls Dr. is temporarily closed down as of 5:30pm. There have also been numerous reports of spinouts and cars driving off the road in the Big Oak Flat area due to snow.
A number of other minor spinouts and collisions have also been reported throughout the Mother Lode as a result of the weather. Travel with caution.
