Boy Scout Dies After Falling From Cliff In Yosemite

Yosemite, Ca — A 12-year-old Boy Scout was killed in Yosemite National Park Saturday after falling from a cliff near Upper Yosemite Fall.
The name of the boy, who is from Modesto, has not been identified. The boy reportedly was hiking in front of the group and ventured off the trail toward a steep drop above Columbia Rock.
The Boy Scout lost his footing and fell approximately 300 ft.
