Calaveras Supervisors To Open April Meetings

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will open its series of April meetings today by authorizing Chair Steve Wilensky to sign a letter opposing the proposed 10% reduction in state general fund contribution to multi-county EMS agencies and at the same time requesting an increase in current state funding for that purpose.
In addition there will be discussion and possible action regarding a resolution approving the county´s Juvenile Justice Development Plan allowing the Chief Probation Officer to sign the Youthful Offender Block Grant.
The open-to-the-public Board meeting gets underway at 9am at the Government Center on Mountain Ranch Rd.
