Columbia Man Arrested For Burglary In Twain Harte

Twain Harte, Ca — 41-year-old Michael Ray Baca of Columbia has been arrested in connection with a burglary in Twain Harte in the 18000 of Lakewood Dr.

Earlier this week, the property owner had received a call that his alarm had been activated and requested that the Sheriff´s Department respond.

When the first deputy arrived, Baca was seen walking away from the residence. An investigation discovered that the home had been broken into and an undetermined amount of property had been taken.

Deputies searched Baca´s vehicle and found property that had been taken from the residence. They also found a screwdriver and flashlight concealed near the driver´s seat. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody. Baca already had a bench warrant out of Calaveras County for drug and DUI charges.
