So How Serious Is California’s Wildfire Situation?

Sacramento, CA — “Very” according to fire officials around the state.
Large and small fires as of Thursday evening, June 26 numbered 1,090. 165,091 acres have been burned. 241 fires have been contained. 12,512 personnel have been committed to California´s wildfires, the majority of which were lightning caused from last weekend.
Resources committed include 933 engines, 288 crews, 262 dozers, 303 water tenders, 68 helicopters, 14 air tankers, 26 incident management teams and 1,851 management-overhead personnel.
To date 20 residences, one commercial and 20 outbuildings have been destroyed.
