Sonora Fire Department Toy And Food Drive Coming To A Close

Sonora, CA — The Sonora Fire Department is at it again; collecting toys and food for children throughout the Mother Lode.
This year, as always, the S.F.D. is collecting wrapped toys and non-perishable food items at three locations; the Fire Department on Shepherd St., City Hall and Sierra Motors in Jamestown.
According to Fire Captain and Coordinator Todd McNeal the barrels will be emptied tomorrow and transported to ATCAA (Amador Tuolumne County Action Agency) for distribution. Donations can be made past Friday and those items will be delivered as quickly as possible.
