Russell To Be Recognized At Supervisorial Meeting
Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Clerk and Auditor-Controller Debi Russell will be recognized at today’s supervisorial meeting for capturing an international award.
According to CAO Craig Pedro Russell will be recognized for being awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.
From Pedro, “There aren’t that many counties in the state that receive this award. This is a goal that Ms. Russell has been working on for several years now and I’m sure she would be the first one to say it’s a team effort.
It does mean for our residents that they can have faith and confidence in the accuracy of the financial reports that are being issued by our auditor-controller and that’s particularly important during these times of financial uncertainty.”
