Copperopolis Rollover Claims One Life

Copperopolis, CA — The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department and the Highway Patrol have confirmed a single fatality due to a rollover accident near the Union Mine Store on O’Byrnes Ferry Rd.
CHP units are currently on site continuing their investigation. Apparently the vehicle went over some type of embankment.
Further details will be forthcoming including an identity of the deceased.
