Planning Commission Approves Lowe’s Project

Sonora, CA — Monday evening the Planning Commission approved the site plan and design review for the Lowe’s Home Improvement Center project.
City of Sonora Community Development Director Ed Wyllie stated that this decision amounts to the last step in the action process for both the Planning Commission and the City Council
Wyllie added that opponents of the project, namely Tuolumne County Citizens For Responsible Growth, now have 10 days to file an appeal to the Monday evening vote. If no appeal is filed the project can move forward to a groundbreaking.
