Black Hat Foundation Gifts I.C.E.S.

Sonora, CA — Wednesday evening Infant Child Enrichment Services accepted a $15,000 check from the Black Hat Foundation.

Accepting the check from funds raised from the May 2 Dinner Dance Ball were I.C.E.S. Executive Director Evelyn Thompson and Erin Pollen, who heads up the Raising Healthy Families program. The check was presented by Black Hat Foundation President Bruce McCullough.

Infant Child Enrichment Services is a public benefit non-profit corporation created in 1983 to provide a variety of child care and parenting support services to families in Tuolumne and Mariposa counties. The ICES vision is that all parents in the community have access to quality child care and parenting education. Services include child care resource and referral, child care subsidies, recruitment and training of child care professionals and parent education and support.

Black Hat Foundation also awarded 2009 checks to Teen Works ($1,500), Smile Keepers ($1,000), Mountain Women’s Resource Center ($1,000) and the Foundation for Educational Excellence ($500).

Black Hat Foundation is second only to the Sonora Area Foundation in raising annual funds for Tuolumne County non-profit organizations.
