Injury Accident On Highway 4

Copperopolis, CA– Two residents from Murphys were injured in a solo vehicle accident on Highway 4 just west of Pool Station Road Sunday.
According to the CHP, the driver, 17-year-old Michelle Yurich, was driving a 2000 Nissan Ultima at an unsafe rate of speed when she lost control of the vehicle and collided with a dirt embankment.
Passengers Michael Yurich, 54, and Maryanne Yurich, 55, suffered minor injuries and were transported to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s hospital. Michelle Yurich was uninjured.
