Hospital Food Drive Exceeds Goal

Sonora, CA– Sonora Regional Medical Center employees donated 8,556 pounds of food during the Medical Center’s holiday food drive.
This brings their total donations through the Medical Center’s “Food For Families Program” to 15,756 pounds of food for 2010.
“We delivered huge truckloads of food to our various community agencies, which will make a huge difference to the families they serve,” said chaplain and “Food For Families Program” organizer Bryan Lewis. “The amount of food donated exceeds our goal of five pounds per employee.”
The donated food was divided among the Amador-Tuolumne County Action Agency, Interfaith Community Social Services, Adventist Community Services and the Red Church Pantry.
