Car Fire Near Apartment Complex

Sonora, CA — There was an overnight vehicle fire in Sonora.
CAL Fire received multiple 911 calls starting at 10:22pm because a 1987 Acura was on fire near the Quail Hollow Apartments on Chuker Circle. Firefighters were on scene for over an hour. No one was injured, and the cause is under investigation. It did $1,000 damage to the vehicle.
Two engines from CAL Fire responded, as well as one engine from Tuolumne County Fire and one engine from City of Sonora Fire.
