Officials Participate In Emergency Drill

Sonora, CA — Law enforcement responders took part in a communications drill at the Striker Court Ambulance Station Wednesday.
The officials simulated what they would due in the event of a school bus colliding with a propane truck.
Tuolumne County OES Coordinator Kathleen Rustrum says it was an excellent opportunity for state, county and city agencies to work together and coordinate efforts.
The County also tested out its new City Watch reverse 911 system that allows emergency officials to notify residents in a specific area if they are in danger from a disaster like a fire or flood.
