Detour On Hwy 49

Jamestown, CA — If you are traveling between Sonora and Chinese Camp, the CHP says Hwy 49 near Sims Rd. will be closed down for the next several hours as power lines are hanging over the roadway.
The CHP has set up a three mile detour, so motorists will want to take Hwy 108 to Hwy 120 as an alternate route to the Chinese Camp area.
(Update: Hwy 49 is back open.)
