Valley Springs Drug Arrest

Valley Springs, CA– Two Valley Springs residents were arrested on numerous drug charges last week.

The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office reports that members of the Sheriff’s Narcotics and Investigations unit served a search warrant at a residence on the 100 block of Myrtle Street in Valley Springs.

After arriving on scene, authorities located several grams of methamphetamine, methamphetamine smoking devices, marijuana, and a device which utilizes butane to create concentrated cannabis from marijuana.

Shannon Solar, 35, and Dale Wichman , 40, were taken into custody.

Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, manufacturer of a controlled substance, possession of a device used for smoking methamphetamine, possession of more than 28.5 grams of marijuana, and person under the influence of a controlled substance. The arrests took place on Thursday, November 10th.
