Here Comes Some Rain Again

Sponsored by:

Change is on the way for early next week.

According to the National Weather Service, a Pacific storm will begin approaching the area from the Gulf of Alaska this weekend.

Early next week, central California will be dominated by cloudy skies, strong winds, periods of rain and high elevation snow.

Snow levels will begin around 7500 feet on Sunday night and then lower to 6000 feet on Tuesday and Wednesday. Several inches of snow is possible.

Rainfall amounts on Monday and Tuesday in the central valley, will range from a quarter to a half an inch.

All of the local mountain passes are currently open. That will likely change next week.
