Fair Board Seeks Input

How would you improve the Calaveras County Fair?
The Fair Board is in the process of planning the 2013 Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee, and is seeking community input. The Board is scheduled to have a planning session next month to go over various proposals. Community members that have suggestions regarding programming, competitions and entertainment should e-mail General Manager Laurie Giannini at laurie@frogtown.org.
The Calaveras County Fair is also seeking a slogan-theme for the 2013 event. Slogans can focus on an agricultural commodity, history, recreation or other appropriate tie with the fair. Past themes include “Froggin and Loggin” and “Pirates of the Carrotts and Beans.”
