Improvements Around Pinecrest Lake

Sponsored by:

Pinecrest, CA — Several infrastructure improvements will be made around Pinecrest Lake starting this fall.

The Forest Service and PG&E are working together to update facilities around the popular day-use area. Improvements will be made to the restrooms, amphitheatre (new stage and screen), picnic areas, and parking lots.

Stanislaus National Forest Supervisor Susan Skalski announces that a construction contract will be awarded soon, with work scheduled to begin in October. Work will take place over the next several years, but not during the busy summer recreation season.
