Update: Driver Identified In Rollover Crash

San Andreas, CA – The CHP has released the name of the driver involved in a rollover crash near San Andreas this past weekend.

60-year-old Megan Aguilar of Angels Camp was taken by air ambulance first to Mark Twain Medical Center and then to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto due to her injuries.

The crash happened just before 8 a.m. Saturday on Highway 49 near Union Mine Road near the Calaveras County Airport. The CHP reports Aguilar was driving a 2002 Volvo when she reached for her coffee and drifted off the highway. She lost control of the car, went down an embankment and overturned.

Aguilar suffered major injuries to the left side of her head and shoulder. The CHP reports alcohol or drugs where not a factor in the wreck.
