Bigelow Vice-Chair Of Appropriations

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — Mother Lode Assemblyman Frank Bigelow has been named Vice-Chair of the committee that oversees state spending.

Bigelow will be the lead Republican on the Assembly Appropriations Committee. Bigelow received the endorsement for the position from Assembly Republican leader Connie Conway. “Frank Bigelow has a proven record of fiscal stewardship as a County Supervisor and as a businessman,” says Conway. “He has helped build a surplus at the local level and consistently voted against unnecessary and unaffordable government spending.”

Democratic Assemblyman Mike Gatto of Los Angeles is the Chair of the committee.

Bigelow’s District Five covers nine counties, including Tuolumne and Calaveras.
