Sponsored by:

Tuolumne, CA — Charities lucked out last night and grabbed on to some cold hard cash, $23,350 to be exact. In all 60 non-profit groups vied for a chance to take part in the 11th Annual Black Oak Casino Resort Community Grab for Cash. Ten charities were picked to enter the cube with $5,000 dollars flying around and grab as much loot as possible in 30 seconds.

Ron Patel, General Manager of Black Oak Casino Resort says, “We try to select non-profits or charities that we haven’t necessarily given to in the year and also some of the smaller organizations that do so much for our community. When we looked through the applications the amount of charitable work and donation that they make is amazing.”

There is also a cornucopia ticket in the booth and when that is caught it doubles the total dollar grabbed. Here is the cash totals grabbed:

Wings Fund $7,820
David Lambert Community Drop In Center $3,600
MYACT $2,120
