New Solar Panels to Be Installed At Yosemite

Yosemite National Park will have solar panels installed to its administration building at El Portal. The 200
thousand dollar system will save 34 thousand dollars a year in energy costs. The new panels will be installed at no cost to the Park.
The project, partly
paid for by grants from the state Energy Commission is expected to reduce energy usage at the building by 10 percent.
