California Governor Gray Davis says the state´s largest utility still may sell its transmission lines to the state
despite seeking bankruptcy protection when earlier deals fell through.
Davis says a group of Pacific Gas and Electric Company´s creditors has asked
state negotiators for a briefing on talks to buy the transmission lines of San Diego Gas and Electric.
